My professional journey began within the international trade and transportation and supply chain logistics, import/export services, financial services and remittance industry, where I developed extensive experience in global trade and payment networks, financial distribution systems, and compliance structures related to cross-border global trade and financial flows.
During this period, I held leadership and management roles supporting the expansion of international logistics and payment networks, agent distribution channels, and regional sales operations across Canada and international markets. My work included developing strategic partnerships, overseeing operational growth initiatives, and managing large agent and partner networks within the logistics, remittance and financial services ecosystem.
Earlier in my career, I held positions within organizations such as CIBC, the Canadian International Bank of Commerce, where I worked in banking advisory services, and Transfast, formerly New York Bay Remittance, Now a Master Card acquired company, where I served in leadership roles related to compliance management, network development, and international payment operations.
I also worked with global remittance platforms and financial service networks including Sigue Corporation, Coinstar Money Transfer, and international remittance brands like UNO Money Transfers, BHD, Giromex operating under the Nexxar Group ecosystem.
These experiences allowed me to develop a deep understanding of cross-border financial operations, regulatory environments, international payment systems, and global distribution networks.
